Terrific Tigger

Tigger is our wonderful stud Toy-Poodle. He has all of the best characteristics of the Poodle breed - excellent confirmation, magnificent intelligence, dignity, pride, willingness, courage, very keen determination and most of all deep devotion. He gives his wonderful temperament to his offspring! You can see his fantastic personality in the warmth of his beautiful eyes!


Mighty Mr. Pibb!
Mr. Pibb is our incredible Shih-tzu stud male. We sometimes call him "Pibby"! Mr. Pibb is a superb example of the very best of the Shih-tzu breed. Not only is his confirmation outstanding, most importantly He is fun-loving, playful, loyal, loving, gentle and a constant companion. He is such a marvel to watch with the young puppies, he acts like a watchful but gentle and playful "Nanny"! Mr. Pibb loves to lay down with even the youngest of pups and keep watch over them.

People sometimes ask why we keep our dogs clipped so short. That is a good question when you consider that Shih-tzu's and Poodles each have their own distinct hair styles.

The reason we keep all of our dogs in what we call a "full body clip" is that none of our dogs are bound to a kennel. We do not run a "puppy mill". Each of our dogs has a very distinct and beloved place within our family. We also do not show our dogs - we have a farm to run! Our dogs (males & females) enjoy all of the freedoms of living in a rural area with endless acres to play on. Unfortunately, our farm has lots of burdock which the dogs all seem to find (with glee!) plus fields full of farm "dirt" and weeds to investigate! Keeping their hair clipped short helps us keep them all neat and clean. We feel this contributes to their over-all good health (not to mention being allowed by mom to sleep in the house on our beds!).

We are deeply aware of how fortunate we are to have Tigger and Mr. Pibb as our foundation sires. There are truly no other dogs in the world like them anywhere - they exemplify their breeds in every single way and their puppies are absolutely wonderful!!
